The Nationwide Cheese Exhibition in Prague 2004

In January of 2004 the eighth annual Nationwide Cheese Exhibition in Prague 2005 took place, which is organized by ICT Prague, the Department of Dairy and Fat Technology, the Czech-Moravian Dairy Union, andthe Expert Group for Food Industry and Agricultural Chemistry of Czech Chemical Companies. Madeta cheeses again displayed their uniqueness and originality and placed in many top spots.

Category-cheeses with mould on the surface:
1st place - Kamadet - Royal cheese

Category - Edam cheese:
3rd place - Edam cheese - loaf 30 % f. i. d.

Category - Moravian block type cheeses:
3rd place PETR VOK - hard cheese

Category - cheeses with mould in the body:
1st place - Krumlovská růže - blue cheese

Category - cheeses with mould in the body:
2nd place - Zlatá Niva - blue cheese
