In June 2005 the 11th annual competition Packaging of the Year 2005 took place in Prague. The entered packaging was judged by an expert jury and panel of representatives. The two-round judging was not easy because the packaging and the means of packaging were judged comprehensively and together, not apart with regard to just their design or construction.

The twelve-sided box for packaging round cheeses won the award Packaging of the Year 2005 in the category - Sales, display and group packaging and displays. This box is folded up from one piece without glue and is an innovation in the spheres of packaging, transport and sales of round cheeses. The box has many advantages, which include that it provides adequate protection during transport, low acquisition costs as compared to wood (the packaging successfully imitates wood), low printing preparation costs (two-colour cardboard with printing), and the option of loading the cheeses manually or with a machine.
