The Consumer Awards were awarded during the Bread Basket exhibition in České Budějovice on 25 August 2006. Here, the Chairman of the Spotrebitel.cz civil association, Mr Petr Brynda, representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ing. Lenka Doležalová, and the Chairman of the Entrepreneurial Association of Bakers and Confectioners, Ing. Stanislav Musil awarded the Consumer Awards for bread, ice cream, butter spreads, and mayonnaises. MADETA had its favourite among butter spreads. In the overall evaluation of brands in this category, where the results of rankings in quality, purchases, and brand awareness are evaluated, first place and thus the Consumer Award was awarded to our Jihočeské pomazánkév máslo - butter spread. Products are judged not only by the readers of Q magazine, but also by respondents to the NMS agency and experts from the Faculty of Food and Biochemical Technology, headed by Ing. Alena Šedivá.

A beautiful award – a crystal prism and certificate were presented to Ing. Brigita Říčařová, Director of the MADETA plant in Strakonice, where the winning Jihočeské pomazánkové máslo - butter spread is made.
